What is SELASI?
SELASI (Integrated E-Learning System of Universitas Riau) is the official online learning platform of Universitas Riau, developed based on Moodle, an international Learning Management System (LMS) widely used in higher education.
SELASI serves as a centralized hub for lecturers and students to conduct digital learning processes that are structured, documented, secure, and easily accessible anytime and anywhere.
This platform supports the integration of lecture activities, assessments, class communication, and learning archive storage in a single system managed by the ICT Support Unit (UPA TIK) of Universitas Riau.

Students
- Access course materials and learning resources.

Lecturers

Key Features of SELASI
Structured Online Classes
Each course has a digital classroom containing topics, meetings, activities, and learning archives.
Course Materials & Resources
Lecturers can upload various formats of learning materials:
PDFs, PPTs, videos, external URLs, interactive modules, and SCORM content.
Assignments & Online Submissions
Students submit assignments through the system, while lecturers can directly provide grades and comments.
Online Quizzes & Exams
Supports various question types such as multiple-choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blanks, essays, matching, numerical, and automated question banks.
Includes time settings, attempt limits, and exam security.
Discussion Forums
Discussion facilities supporting interaction between students and lecturers for both formal and informal communication.
Grades & Attendance Records
Lecturers manage grades, attendance, and reports, while students can monitor their academic progress throughout the semester.
Dashboard & Notifications
Users can view activity schedules, assignment deadlines, important announcements, and automated notifications in a single view.
Academic Integration
Connected to the university's academic data, including courses, student lists, and lecturers, in accordance with UNRI's academic system.
SELASI Utilization at Universitas Riau
Compulsory & Elective Courses
Many courses are fully operational on SELASI across various faculties, for example: MSI3206 – Business Intelligence, and various other courses.
Special Programs & Training
Example: "Digital Self-Defense 2025" – digital security training for the entire academic community, featured as a special course on the SELASI homepage.
Structured Non-Academic Activities
Several units or activities also utilize SELASI for internal training, workshops, and certifications.
How to Access & Login
Open the address: selasi.unri.ac.id
Click the "Log in" button in the top right corner.
Log in using your official Universitas Riau account:
• Student ID (NIM) / Employee ID (NIP), or
• UNRI institutional account (@student, @lecturer, @staff, etc.)
Select available courses or training from the "My Courses" menu.
Security: SELASI can only be accessed using an official Universitas Riau account.
Security & Usage Policies
Course access is controlled by lecturers or faculty admins.
Student activities are automatically recorded through system activity logs.
Online exams can be configured with time limits, passwords, or additional proctoring.
Accounts must not be shared with third parties to ensure academic data security.
