Free Wi-Fi Coverage for Universitas Riau Students
Universitas Riau (UNRI) provides free WLAN and LAN network access services for all students as a form of support for academic and research activities. Through this network infrastructure, students can access various academic services, digital resources, and online learning platforms without incurring additional costs.
UNRI’s internet network operates through two main types of connectivity, namely Wireless LAN (WLAN/Wi-Fi), which is available in various campus areas to provide flexible access, and Local Area Network (LAN), which is used in laboratories and academic facilities to provide a more stable connection. All of this connectivity is integrated through a fiber optic (FO) backbone that connects UNRI’s main campus, Gobah Campus, the Faculty of Medicine, and the FKIP Sports area.
If students experience any issues when logging into their Wi-Fi account, reports can be submitted through the official UNRI Helpdesk website at helpdesk.unri.ac.id so that the UPA TIK technical team can follow up.
