Dr. Iswadi Hasyim Rosma, ST, MT, Head of UPT TIK University of Riau, was invited to attend a one-day seminar entitled "Digital Transformation: Connectivity, Security, Resiliency, is a Must," held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta. The event was organized by Telematics Multisystem.
The seminar discussed various aspects related to digital transformation. The attendance of the Head of UPT TIK UNRI provided valuable opportunities to gain new insights and to share experiences with both the organizers and ICT managers from other universities who were also present. This event is expected to contribute to the strategic programs of the Rector, Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Indarti, SE, M.Si, which focus on prioritizing the development and enhancement of IT infrastructure at the University of Riau. Consequently, it is hoped that the quality of IT at UNRI will be able to compete with other leading universities that have already moved forward toward becoming smart campuses and embracing digital transformation.
In general, the seminar was divided into two groups of speakers: speakers from among the participants and speakers from Telematics, the event organizer. The topics covered in the seminar included IT infrastructure for connectivity, data security, and system resiliency.
